(How) can I save the position of AntiSpam3's main window?
The position is saved automatically when you quit AntiSpam 3 by pressing the
Close button.
I cannot un-check some message parts on the Modify spam tab!
It's a feature :-) - Text parts cannot be un-checked.
After getting the whois record I can't access the "abuse email"
column in order to bring the email address down to the "Complain to ..." list. You have to right- or double-click the "hostname" column for all actions.
In the stable release 3.0 the whole lines can be selected.
I get an (automated) response from some abuse department telling me that they can't (i.e. don't
want to) process spam emails that are sent as attachments.
Unfortunately you'll have to do some handwork: Copy the spam from the View spam tab and
paste it into your complaint text (on the Complain to tab in the Complain to
these addresses list: right-click on the desired address and choose Modify
complaint text from the menu).
I'm behind a firewall and DNS lookups and whois queries don't work. Which ports do I have to open?
From /etc/services on my linux machine:
whois 43/tcp
domain 53/tcp nameserver
domain 53/udp nameserver
I.e. opening port 43 for tcp and port 53 for both tcp and udp connections should do the trick
(if the firewall is the culprit).
